Officers

The IASCL's 6 Officers constitute its Board, which itself forms part of the Executive Committee. The Board runs our Association on a "daily" basis. All Officers (except the Assistant Secretary) are IASCL members that were nominated by the elected members of the Executive Committee and whose nominations were ratified by the membership. IASCL Officers for the 2027-2030 term

Following the vote of the IASCL Executive Board, IASCL Nominating & Appointing Committee is pleased to announce the results of the election for IASCL Officers for the 2027–2030 term.

  • President: Aylin Küntay (Turkey)

  • Vice-President: Mele Taumoepeau (New Zealand)

  • Treasurer: Gary Morgan (Spain) (Second Term)

All nominee candidates presented outstanding records of scholarship, leadership, and international engagement, each contributing in distinctive ways to the study of child language globally, as well as to service to the field and the Association.

The Nominating and Appointing Committee extends its sincere congratulations to the newly elected officers and its deep appreciation to all nominees for their willingness to serve and for their continued contributions to the international child language community.

We thank all candidates for their dedication to IASCL and look forward to the leadership of our newly elected officers as they guide the Association during the 2027–2030 term.
